Robin Scherbatsky, Alcoholic

This blog is devoted to the "How I Met Your Mother" character Robin Scherbatsky and her alarming descent into alcoholism. Maybe it's because she never recovered from her brief fame as pop singer Robin Sparkles. Maybe it's because of a bad upbringing. Maybe it's because she's Canadian. But one thing is true: Robin Scherbatsky drinks like a fish. A raging alcoholic fish. With boobs.

We all know that Ted Mosby ultimately doesn't wind up with Robin, but let's hope it's not because of this dreadful disease, because Ted and his friends might have to share the blame. Alcohol is to the HIMYM gang what coffee is to Friends and misunderstandings were to Three's Company, and it would be sad if Robin becomes Mr. Roper.

Through this blog, I hope to document Robin's alcohol problem and perhaps track down the root cause of her drinking; we'll also see how alcohol has negatively affected the other characters.

And I figure it'll also be a handy spot in which to stash the "How I Met Your Mother" song list, which tracks the music used in each episode.
